The 2012 Indoor Season will get underway next week, with the first practice scheduled for Wednesday, December 14th from 4-6PM at the RAMS Gym. The full practice schedule is posted in the calendar on the website. 15 practices will take place during the off-season in December, January, and February, with at least one practice each week. Practices will rotate between the RAMS and GHS Gyms. If any changes should take place, they will be announced at school, in addition to being posted here on the website blog, and on our Facebook page (search for the Girard Girls Soccer group page, request to join the page and a coach will accept your request).

Letters with the practice and indoor league information have been distributed to high school students, and has been left in the RAMS office for 7th and 8th grade players to pick up at their convenience. Information will also be available for players at the first practice on December 14th.

Money will start to be collected for indoor leagues at Family First beginning at the first practice, and needs to be turned in before Christmas so that we can secure discounts offered by Family First (although checks will not be cashed until after Christmas). For 7th and 8th grade players, the indoor fee is $65 and checks can be made payable to Justin Whitford. For high school players, the indoor fee will be around $70, depending on the interest we receive (less players equal higher cost). Placement on the 7th and 8th grade team will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis. The first 11 players to turn money in will be guaranteed spots on the team, and any additional players will be placed on a waiting list to see if we have enough for a second team (which we have had for the past few seasons). All of this is subject to change, based on the discretion of the coaching staff, and based on what is in the best interest of the team. If you are interested in playing, please turn your money in immediately! If we are unable to register the team by the end of December, the indoor fee will increase per player, up to an additional $25. Indoor games will begin at the start of February.
